This property is off the grid, located in the Gulfo Dulce of Costa Rica’s Southern Zone. It is a very unique property as it has a private beach, no neighbors. The titled land goes from one point to the next creating a completely isolated property and beach front. The ocean in front is always calm due to the position of the property. This and some underwater rocks have attracted many species of marine animals that live in the gentle shallow water. Imagine being able to just walk out front and be able to go snorkeling in the warm waters of the Gulfo Dulce, a place so well known for its biodiversity. In back of the cleared area is the National Park of Piedras Blancas. There is a spring that starts in the jungle behind the cleared area and provides year round fresh water. This also attracts an enormous amount of wildlife looking to drink the fresh water. Often you see monkeys, raccoon, coati mundi, agouti paca, weasels, courasells, tintamous and many other tropical birds.
The titled area is about 20 acres.
Most of this is in the National Park which means you do not have to pay property tax on it. It is protected from any poachers and allows for many animals to live freely. The nontitled beach area is another 20 acres. This is administrated by one of the park regulating offices who gives possession rights. You can obtain building permits for any kind of environmentally friendly structure that would be used for eco development.
It is the perfect place to start a small off the grid eco-lodge. The location is perfect for catching fresh fish every day. The property has plenty of room to grow fruits trees and many edible foods.
